For well over a decade, InVigor canola hybrids consistently out-perform all other canola hybrids and varieties grown in Western Canada. Bayer CropScience Canada has reinforced its market leading position with the introduction of InVigor L130 and L150, the highest yielding InVigor canola hybrids yet.
According to Brad Ewankiw, Portfolio Manager for InVigor Seed, this kind of performance from a canola hybrid or variety is unprecedented in the canola industry.
“Without question, InVigor L130 and L150 are going to make a name for themselves in fields across Western Canada and in the canola industry,” he says. “Just look at the numbers. In trials conducted in 2008/2009, L130 yielded 136 per cent of the check varieties Q2 and 46A65. L150 yielded 143 per cent of those checks and has created an advanced level of performance.”
“More than ever growers need to get the most out of everything they do and make sure they are getting the maximum return on investment from their inputs,” says Ewankiw. “That’s why Bayer CropScience devotes so much time and resources into InVigor – we want to supply the best choice producers can make to grow a high yielding canola crop.”
InVigor L130 and InVigor L150 will be commercially avAIlable for the 2011 growing season.
