US approves Gowan’s Captiva Prime insecticide

Gowan Company, L.L.C. recently announced that Captiva Prime, a natural repellent bio-insecticide, has received full state registration in the USA (excluding Alaska) and Puerto Rico. Captiva Prime controls thrips and spider mites and will be sold into a wide variety of specialty crop segments.

Captiva Prime has been developed in collaboration with EcoFlora Agro a premier plant extract R&D company, and partner to Gowan Company. Captiva Prime joins Gowan's growing biorational portfolio aimed to help growers in controlling crop-damaging pests, while also providing effective solutions to the increasing crop production challenges like residue management, labor and harvest flexibility, and resistance management.
