Valent USA Corporation’s Danitol Insecticide (
fenpropathrin) is now registered for use on stone fruit, tree nuts, bushberries, caneberries, olives, and tropical and subtropical crop groups in California. It is also registered in other states for use on citrus, pome fruit, grapes, cotton, strawberries, and vegetables.
Danitol is effective against navel orangeworm, oriental fruit moth, walnut husk fly, thrips, leafrollers, fruitworms, Japanese beetles, and mites. It is also known for having a short, 24-hour restricted entry interval.
