THE formulations of two Bayer prothioconazole fungicides have been revised for use in cereals.
Firefly 155 has a ratio of 110g prothioconazole + 45g fluoxastrobin. The product previously contained 100g prothioconazole+50g fluoxastrobin.
Proline 275 is a more concentrated formulation of prothioconazole for use in winter wheat, barley and oilseed rape.
It provides 25g more active ingredient per litre than Proline (250g/l prothioconazole). There is no change to the maximum permitted dose and for growers who need to convert existing Proline rates to the new formulation are advised to use a conversion rate of 0.91.
