EU to re-register chloridazon

The herbicide, chloridazon, has been cleared for re-registration by the EU Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health (SCFCAH). Chloridazon was in the third round of the EU review of active ingredients and was originally supported through the review by BASF and Hermoo. Once the decision is confirmed by the European Commission, chloridazon will be added to Annex I of the EU agrochemical registration Directive (91/414).
