Bayer CropScience
Balance GT — The Balance GT Soybean Performance System was developed through collaboration between MS Technologies and Bayer CropScience. Created using high-yielding, elite soybean genetics. Balance GT soybeans will be tolerant to both glyphosate and isoxaflutole, the active ingredient in new Balance Bean herbicide. Balance GT soybeans will be the first step in a foundational system that will grow to include a triple-stacked herbicide-tolerant soybean, providing tolerance to glyphosate, Balance Bean and Liberty.
The LibertyLink soybean system will be used as well to help manage glyphosate-resistant weeds. Through the LibertyLink soybean system, Bayer says it will bring a complete package of high-performing genetics coupled with powerful, non-selective weed control for glyphosate-resistant and tough-to-manage weeds that is also useful for effective resistance management, since Liberty is the only herbicide with a unique Group 10 mode of action.
