Indian group Coromandel plans to transfer part of its international production to Brazil, revealed by Roshan Mammen, the company's leader in Latin America and the United States. The company is active in Brazil market since 2003, through the subsidiaries Sabero Organics America and Coromandel Brasil Ltda., but just selling products coming from India.
"We, on the other hand, have the interest to establish a production basis in the country at the appropriate time in the future. Brazil is a key market and the company predicts a strong growth in the country in the next few years", said Roshan Manmen.
Coromandel already operates in Argentina, Mexico, and Australia. For Brazil, the executive expects that sales contribute with $65 million during the current fiscal year. Globally, the group revenue reaches $2 billion with the most part coming from fertilizer sales.
