DuPont Coragen provides insect control, which, according to the company, "gives a very healthy crop and better tillering to the crop." With favorable environmental profile, DuPont expects Coragen to become a core insect control solution in farmers Integrated Pest Management Program for rice, sugarcane, cole (cabbage and cauliflower), and cotton crops.
In addition to pesticide Coragen, the company has launched Londax Power, a weed controler, and Velpar K-4, which controls weeds in sugarcane.
“At DuPont, we strongly believe that if the farmer smiles, the nation thrives,” said Ram Mudholkar, Director - South Asian DuPont Crop Protection. “All the three products that we are launching today are the latest in our global portfolio and will help the farmers in India grow high-yield and high-quality crops. DuPont Crop Protection has a team of technical experts across all the states who will be engaged in training programs to help farmers learn how to harness the maximum benefits from this revolutionary product,” he added.
