Previously owned by Brian and Brenda Lange, ARCI have agreed to join Eurofins Agroscience Services Inc. Brian joins us as US Western Divisional Manager working out of Fresno, CA; he and the team bring with them a wealth of experience.

Founded in January 2003, ARCI specialize in worker exposure and GLP crop residue studies. They established field sites in Fresno and Madera County and the central coastal location of Santa Maria.

“We’re very excited that the ARCI team have joined the group and believe their expertise and strong reputation will augment our presence in such a key region of the US,” explains the Group’s President, Ian Greig.

Greig adds that “Following the recent acquisition of Grayson Research and their capabilities, the combined strengths with ARCI will have a significant impact on our service portfolio, expanding our experience in worker exposure whilst complimenting our current field offering in California.”

Eurofins Agroscience Services began working in North America in 2006 as a result of a growing demand for CRO’s that are capable of managing development programs across the country. The company aims to adopt a partnership approach with its clients, based on its very successful European model.

The US based CRO is a leading provider of field and scientific research services, product development consultancy and technical support to the crop protection industry.  Technical activities involve conducting field and laboratory studies to determine the safety and efficacy of new pesticides, agrochemicals and crop varieties.

Eurofins Agroscience Services Inc. now boasts wholly owned field facilities in Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Florida and California, a dedicated Study management team and a specialised environmental and worker exposure function. Its primary focus will concentrate on actively growing the business over the next 12-18 months.

Following the addition of Access Research, the plan continues with the creation of a nation-wide network of facilities in all of the key regulatory growing areas of North America.
